Revd Dave Baguley
Dave has been ordained since 2011, and is especially interested in collaborative eschatology, which he understands as people working together to deliver God's purposes for the lives of all his people. He is a Professor of Hearing Sciences at the University of Nottingham, where he researches tinnitus, and hearing problems after chemotherapy, and a clinical audiologist at QMC. Dave loves to cook (less keen on the washing up!), walk in the hills with Bridget, watch films, and listen to indie music: you might spot him at the back of gigs at Rock City if bands he likes come to Nottingham.

Revd Sue Pendenque
Sue joined St Martin's as a curate in 2019. Prior to her training, she served as a children's minister in churches in Ruddington & Leicester, having previously been a primary school teacher. She has a heart to see people of all ages discover how deeply loved they are by Jesus and grow strong roots in him.
Reader - licensed lay minister
Lesley joined St Martin’s church in 1989. Licensed as a Lay Minister in 2010, she values this ministry which enables ordinary church members to play an active part in church life, especially in preaching and leading worship. Lesley believes God speaks to us richly through scripture and she hopes to convey this richness to her church family.
Children & families Minister
Gill has been the Children & Families minister at St Martin's since 2019. She is married to Phil and has 3 children. She has previously worked in a variety of roles supporting the learning and development of children. Her passion is to facilitate families in their own personal discipleship, to grow in their love for God, each other and creating a thriving community.
Judith is a local parent to primary school aged twins. Previously a local teacher and youth worker, she now enjoys being part of the Sherwood community; working in the church office, a gift shop on the high street and drawing & painting. Judith runs the church office and is a first point of contact for enquiries and church building bookings. She is available at St Martin's on Mondays and Thursday mornings.
Chris found faith in 1975, aged 16. He married Chrissie in 1980; has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He has worked in IT for 37 years and currently sets up financial systems for very large companies. He loves seeing people excel in using their gifts in both the Church and the wider community.
Paul joined St Martin's church in 2017 following two illustrated historical talks, one about the history of Woodthorpe Park and the other about the Nottingham City Hospital. Since that time, apart from becoming a Church warden, his interest as a local historian has led him on to researching the history of St Martin's church and how the Parish of St Martin's, Sherwood was established.
